Enda Walsh

Enda Walsh is an Irish playwright living in London. He is the winner of numerous international awards, and his work has been translated and produced worldwide. Recent plays: Misterman (Landmark, Ireland), Penelope, The New Electrical Ballroom, The Walworth Farce (All Druid Theatre, Ireland). Other plays: Chatroom, The Small Things, Bedbound, Disco Pigs. John Carney

John Carney is a Dublin-based writer director who came to the world’s attention following the box office hit and critically acclaimed musical feature film Once, which garnered multiple Independent Spirit, Sundance and Raindance awards. Previously, John was a bassist in the Irish rock band the Frames, where he met Glen Hansard. These musical roots continue to be evident in John’s work with his latest production, Begin Again due for release this summer. Other upcoming projects include Sing Street to shoot this summer with music from Bono and The Edge and a feature adaptation of M.R. James’s Casting the Runes for Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Barbara Broccoli has been part of the James Bond world all of her life. Wilson, she produced the past six Bond films and is currently producing the 23rd,Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig. John N. Hart Jr.

Current theatre: Seminar, a David Greig adaptation of Anouilh’s Becket and the Kid Stays in the Picture. Mr. Hart began his producing career with Eubie! (1978). He has since produced more than 16 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including the Nathan Lane revival of Guys and Dolls; The Who’s Tommy; Hamlet with Ralph Fiennes; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, starring Matthew Broderick; Annie Get Your Gun; and the record-breaking revival of Chicago. Patrick Milling Smith

Patrick Milling Smith co-founded, with Brian Carmody, the bicoastal and international production house Smuggler Inc., an industry leader in music videos, film and commercials. This year Smuggler was awarded the Cannes Lions Palme d’Or along with Clio and British Arrows awards for Production Company of the Year. Patrick served on the Board of Trustees of the NY Theatre Workshop and was among this year’s six honorees of the Made in NY Awards presented by Mayor Bloomberg. Brian Carmody

A native of Skibbereen, Co. Cork, Brian co-founded, along with Patrick Milling Smith, the bi-coastal and international production house Smuggler Inc., an industry leader in film, theatre and commercials in 2002. In 2007 & 2011 Smuggler was awarded the Cannes Lions Palme d’Or and in 2014, Brian served as the Craft Jury President at said festival. Smuggler has also been awarded Production Company of the Year on several occasions over it’s 12 year history. Passions: his wife’s cooking, Liverpool football club, golf and being home in Ireland as often as possible.

Michael G. Wilson

Michael G. Wilson began his producing career in 1976 working with Cubby Broccoli on The Spy Who Loved Me,and they co-produced the next six Bond films, five of which he co-wrote. He then went on to produce the hugely successful Golden Eye with his sister Barbara Broccoli, followed by the next five 007 releases. Together they are producing the 23rd Bond adventure, Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Daniel Craig. Michael was awarded the OBE in Her Majesty the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list in 2008. NYTW

NYTW is an Off-Broadway theatre dedicated to supporting theatre artists at all stages of their careers. A.R.T.
